Homemade Bath Salts!

My children have an amazing school, all the teachers and staff are great and really care about the students. As the year comes to an end I wanted to show all the staff, not just their classroom teachers, that we appreciate their hard work and compassion fr the students. So the kids helped me make homemade peppermint foot and bath salts for all the staff. We put them in a basket in the teacher’s lounge on the last week of school.

Here’s our recipe:

1 cup Epsom salt

1 Cup sea salt

20 – 50 drops peppermint oil

20-50 drops tea tree oil

Mix together in a large bowl.

Store in a ziplock bag or jar with a lid. Add ½ cup to your bathtub for a relaxing stress relieving bath or add 1/3 cup to a basin of warm water for a refreshing foot soak.
