As I am approaching 40 I have found that the amount of hair that I shed on a daily basis is increasing. Some days I feel like it is coming out in clumps. I miss my thick shiny locks that I had in my younger years.
I have found a few natural ways to restore some of my hair’s shine and thickness and slow down the amount of hair fall.
1. A healthy well balanced diet fish in fruits , vegetables, lean protein and whole grains.
2. Biotin- biotin helps keep your hair healthy and strong. I use biotin two ways to help my hair. I use a biotin shampoo to improve hair thickness and I also take a biotin supplement to help maintain healthy hair growth.
3. peppermint oil – peppermint has been used throughout history to help lessen hair fall. I mix a few drops of peppermint essential oil into my bottle of Bottle of biotin- infused shampoo.
4. rosemary oil– rosemary is another herb that is notorious for helping with hair and scalp conditions. I add a few drops of rosemary essential oil along with the peppermint oil in my shampoo.
5.Omega fatty acids- One word… Avocado. I started eating one half an avocado a day and it has made my hair healthy and shiny and my skin so smooth and creamy. Avocados are chalk full of the good kind of fats that help keep skin and hair healthy.
